PE

St. Maria's offers exceptional opportunities for pupils to access a range of physical activities.  A specialist coaches delivers high quality multi-skills lessons, which enhances the quality of PE provision and improves staff knowledge. Children are also given the opportunity to access alternative sports within the curriculum such as tri golf, fencing, yoga, archary and curling. As well as promoting physical fitness with the children the school also works closely with the families and offers active family sessions and healthy cook and eat sessions.

To enhance pupil participation a Sports Council have been set up within school.  Children are keen to share their thoughts for the development of the PE provision and curriculum which we offer at St Maria Goretti.  They also help to organise any inter house competitions across our Multi academy.
